A Study in Frozen Vitality

We have all witnessed the fluidity of "living life"—the fleeting breath, the constant motion, the transient moment. But have we ever truly seen Stone Life?

In this series, the urban bustle of Atlanta fades into the background, replaced by the heavy, silent permanence of the cemetery. These are not merely monuments; they are figures of life captured in mid-gesture, frozen in time yet pulsing with an undeniable, quiet energy.

Through high-contrast monochrome, I explore the humanity carved into the inorganic. This collection traces the emotional spectrum of the stillness: from the "quiet wonders of one" resting in shadow to the "final reach of another" yearning for the sky. Here, the stone breathes, the marble mourns, and the silence speaks.
